In the early minutes, Japan performed

Jakarta Hockey Asian Games
JAKARTA: The first class men's hockey groups of Asia go into fight for an
Asian Games platform complete, however their eyes will be on just the gold
shading as they try to concrete their compartment to the 2020 Olympic Games in
Tokyo.
Safeguarding champions India, positioned fifth on the planet, will be the
top choices to secure gold. They will go into the competition with productive
shape. Their sprinters up complete to Australia in the Champions Trophy in July
was a confirmation of their developing ability.
Head mentor Harendra Singh said that they have just a single goal here in
Jakarta, "The goal is to play in the last amusement and to win it. Nothing
else matters."
The Indian mentor said they have a more experienced group for the Asian
Games contrasted with the Champions trophy. "The center players are there
and we have two changes. We have brought back Akashdeep Singh and Rupinder
Singh into the group. They have the experience and will be a benefit. I see
this group as a considerably more grounded one," he included.
The Indians will would like to top their pool and fit the bill for the
semis from Group A where they have South Korea, Japan, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong and
host Indonesia. Malaysia, the second most noteworthy positioned Asian Team in
the FIH World Ranking (WR: 12), are viewed as the second seed yet it is a real
heart stopper in a Group with Pakistan, Bangladesh, Oman, and Thailand.
Malaysia will confront Kazakhstan in the opening match of Group B.
Malaysian mentor Stephen van Huizen said that the competition will be erratic
as every one of the groups are set on doing admirably. "We simply need to
take one amusement at any given moment. It won't be simple by any stretch of
the imagination. On paper, we are a potential semi-finalist with Pakistan. In
any case, Bangladesh and Oman can spring amazement. They both have remote mentors
dealing with their group."
Bangladesh has Malaysian K. Gobinathan as their mentor while Pakistani
Tahir Zaman, a previous productive objective scorer, is heading Oman. Tahir was
satisfied with the endeavors of his group going into the competition and the
ongoing exhibitions they showed in the Qualifiers for the Asian Games in
Muscat.
Generally India will look to top the gathering stages, while South Korea
Japan will battle for the second place, yet lets not remove anything from Hong
Kong, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia. Gathering B if goes to shape should see
Malaysian and Pakistan booking their last four spots, yet Oman, Thailand,
Bangladesh, and Kazakhstan won't rest without a battle.
As the groups line up for their matches on Monday, the Olympic rings will
include vigorously on their psyches.

Karachi Kings Overcame Peshawar Zalmi By Five Wickets On Sunday
Shiny bowling, Karachi Kings overcame
Peshawar Zalmi by five wickets on Sunday at Dubai International Stadium.
Kings chased their 132-athlete target by
19.4 overs. Zalmi's bowling made the chase, apparently safe, a bit difficult
for the Kings, leading the match to the final, but the captain, Imad Wasim,
sealed the victory for Kings with two balls to spare.
A late attack from Dwayne Smith, including
fast limits at the end, gave Zalmi a fighting chance after Peshawar's batting
order collapsed in the face of bowling and aggressive placement by Karachi
Kings.
Zalmi lost 8 wickets for 79 runs before
Smith took command and helped Zalmi score 48 in the last four doubles and give
Kings a fight target to win.
This was Peshawar Zalmi's second lowest
total in any PSL match, the lowest result being 126 against Islamabad United in
Dubai on February 21, 2016.
Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Irfan took two
wickets each, three of Zalmi's scouts left after being exhausted.

Islamabad United Beat Multan Sultans by 5 Wickets
Islamabad United recorded its
first win after defeating Multan Sultans in Dubai on Sunday.
Talat Hussian was professed
man of the match. The 22-year-old scores 48
not out 34 balls, to save the team from Imran Tahir's magic spell and
win a five-wickets victory for his team. Islamabad United scored 86 at the loss
of five wickets by 15 overs. United seemed to take the lead since 30 runs were
needed for 28 deliveries. Faheem helped him to continue the target by scoring
12 points on 20 balls. Walton contributed 28 scores to the success of the team.
Imran Tahir chose three important wickets. Hussain Talat has been named Man of
the Match.
Earlier, Islamabad United in
first bowling limited Multan Sultans to 113 scores. Captain Ruman Raees
eliminated the drummer Kumar Sangakkara earlier on the score of 6 points. Mohammad
Sami dismissed D Bravo for 6, while Multan struggled to 15-2.
Shoaib Malik again showing his
class made 35 points (36) key balls for his team to show a small combat target.
Kieron Pollard showed some resistance with his 28 fast runs, but was LBW Andre
Russell. Ruman Raees picked up three key windows. Fast bowler Muhammad Sami and
pacer Andre Russell took 2-2 each.
Earlier, Islamabad United won
the draw and opted for a bowl against Multan Sultans in today's first game that
was delayed due to the rain. Ruman Raees is captain while Misbah is not fit
yet. United made two changes in the team. Sahibzada Farhan and Steven Finn,
while Samit Patel and Iftikhar Ahmed are out. Multan, meanwhile, were
unchanged.

Quetta Gladiators Won Nine Wickets Against Lahore Qalandars
Quetta Gladiators won nine
wickets against Lahore Qalandars in the second game of the tournament held at
the Dubai International Stadium on Saturday.
Muhammad Nawaz and Jofra
Archer played their vital role in winning the Gladiators' victory. Nawaz has
launched the most economical spell in the history of the Pakistan Super League.
Her bowling stats tonight were: two wickets in four overs with a maiden while
giving only four runs. Archer took three wickets in 4 overs spell.
Speaking at the post-match
presentation, Nawaz said: "My plan was not to make room for the scouts and
to maintain a good line and length. I want to make the best bowling prize in
this PSL." Gladiator openers, Asad Shafiq and Shane Watson, left no stone
to rule the game everywhere during the battles. Where Watson took charge,
Shafiq helped him turn the strike frequently. The partnership between the pair
ended in 11.4 overs when the team score was in 92 runs.
Watson (66) was dared by Sunil
Narine. He scored five fours and six each.
Peshawar Zalmi Beat Islamabad United By 34 Runs
Umaid Asif and Ibtisam Sheikh
took Peshawar Zalmi for a 34-scores win against Islamabad United at Dubai
International Stadium on Saturday. For Zalmi, Asif got four wickets while Sheikh three, while defending PSL champions dominated Misbah XI in every aspect
of the match.
Kamran Akmal and Tamim Iqbal
laid the groundwork for the team's heats, pushing the field and scoring 176 for
the loss of six wickets in the 20 overs allowed. The innings saw Akmal score 53
of 32 deliveries and Tamim Iqbal with 39 of 29 balls.
Faheem Ashraf was the choice
of the United bowlers claiming two wickets. Rumman Raees is leading Islamabad
United as Misbahul Haq is resting after a hamstring injury today, according to
Cricinfo. This is the fourth game of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018.
Second
Innings
United’d Chadwick Walton, Luke
Ronchi, Asif Ali and Hussian Talat leave early, while XI Misbah hit a serious problem
in their first match.
Zalmi lost to newcomers Multan
Sultans in the opening game of the tournament on Thursday as Sultans, playing
their first PSL, defeated Darren Sammy's XI by seven wickets.
Kamran Akmal gave the
defending champions a good start. He scored a 32-ball 53 before leaving that
way.
Quetta Gladiators vs Lahore Qalandars
The Quetta Gladiators will face the Qalandars
of Lahore in the fifth match of the Pakistan Super League to be held in Dubai.
Both teams will play their second match in the competition. This match will be
held in Dubai as previous matches and will be played on February 24th. The
match will start at 21:30 PST (16:00 GMT).
Both teams, Quetta and Lahore, are losing their
losses in their opening match and hope to reverse in this second match.
Unfortunately for one of these two teams, this will lead to another defeat and
make their qualifying task for the playoffs much more difficult.
What is very interesting to watch is that the
Qalandars would have a solid batting formation, but they were scored in their
opening match by the Sultans of Multan by 43 points - a huge margin in this
format of the game.
Disappointing Lahore captain Brendon McCullum
would be the fact that, despite the presence of bowlers like Raza Hasan,
Shaheen Afridi, Sunil Narine, Mustafizur Rahman and Yasir Shah, they watched
the Sultans at 179 in their 20 overs - a high score for a land in Dubai.
In response, they were eliminated for 136 with
captain McCullum being fired for a duck and only Fakhar Zaman scored a 49.
Quetta's story was something similar but at
least they managed to limit their opposition, Karachi Kings to 149/9 in their
20 overs. At one point, it seemed like the Kings would arrive at 160, but Shane
Watson grabbed a three-iron and did not allow them to even touch 150.
The Gladiators did not have the kind of stick
performance they needed on slow ground to overtake them. They fell to 15/3 and
never really recovered with only Umar Ami's 31 and Mohammad Nawaz's 30 guiding
them to any form of respectability.
Now in this match, the Qalandars are hoping
their hitters and bowlers are both fine, while the Gladiators hope to improve
their batting department.
Islamabad United vs Peshawar Zalmi
The Islamabad United team will
face Peshawar Zalmi's match in the fourth game of the Pakistan Super League
2018. This match will be held in Dubai as the previous three matches and will
be played on February 24th. The match will start at 4:00 am PST (11:30 GMT).
Misbah ul Haq led the
Islamabad United team to a title victory in the first season of the Pakistan
Super League, but the team lost some ground in the second edition last year.
They had a reasonable group stage in which they finished with eight points from
their eight stipulated games, the same number of points they had won in the
first season, but that unfortunately did not allow them to finish in the first
two.
What that meant was that they
just had an opportunity to advance in the playoffs, but they were stopped in
this playoff by the Karachi Kings. Islamabad United, under Misbah again, hopes
they can change that around this year.
It would be interesting to see
who leads the United stick in this match as some of their players still play
international cricket. Alex Hales, for example, is involved with England in
their tour in New Zealand while JP Duminy leads South Africa in a T20 series
against India that ends Saturday, a day before that match.
Andre Russell is back after a
doping ban and he will have Shadab Khan for the company, while Mohammad Sami
and Rumman Raees will lead the bowling attack.
Peshawar Zalmi had a strong
performance / depressing performance against the Multan Sultans in their
opening match. We expected them to win against first-timers and that's exactly
what they did / they fell dramatically in this game.

the Qalandars. The opening scored 38 runs.
Sohaib
Maqsoob is the new drummer who managed to win. Maqsood scored 4 points. He was
overthrown by Yasir Shah. Sangakkara took off with a score of 63 on a score of
44. Fakhar Zaman took his safety in overtime, his innings included five four
and three six.Skipper Shoaib Malik once again looked good today as he scored 48
points (28), crushing 3 six and two to four. Mustafizur Rahman chose the bowler
taking 2 wickets for his team. He finished with 22/2 in four overs. Leggi Yasir
Shah chose eaten to get a wicket.
Earlier,
the Qalandars of Lahore won the draw and decided to take first place against
the Sultans in the third match of the Super League of Pakistan played at the
Dubai Cricket Stadium. The Qalandars made a change in the team - the side that
played against Peshawar Zalmi yesterday. Darren Bravo replaces Hardus Viljoen.
Yesterday,
Multan Sultans recorded his first victory by defeating Peshawar Zalmi by 7
wickets in the first match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 3). Multan Sultans
reached the target in 19.1 overs with the brilliance of Malik and Sangakkara. Sangakkara scored a handful of 57 runs
breaking three sixes and two four.
The
Karachi Kings defeated Quetta Gladiators by 19 points in the second PSL game
played today. Colin Ingram for his briliant shot was declared Man of the Match.
Karachi Kings Beat Quetta Gladiators by 19 Runs
DUBAI:
Karachi Kings defeated Quetta Gladiators by 19 points in the second game of the
Pakistan Super League (PSL 3) played at Dubai Cricket Stadium on Friday. Quetta
Gladiators lost the first wickets by chasing Karachi Kings' 150-point target in
PSL 3's second game. Shane Watson was the first to score 1 point. He was
executed by Mr. Rizwan. Asad Shafiq was the second to be released by Imad
Wasim.
The
star player Pieterson was the third to come out, scoring only 6 points. He was
captured by Bopara off Tymal Mills. The Galdiators are currently 40 / 3.Imad
took 2 crucial wickets for his team by firing Asad Shafiq and Rilee Rossouw.
Umar Amin scored 31 points on 31 balls hitting four limits.
Boom
Boom Afridi has managed to get a wicket and maybe a good catch of his career.
He fired Gladiator captain Sarfraz Ahmed who contributed 7 points. Afridi
completed his four-overs quota with 23 / 1.Muhammad Aamir picked up a wicket in
his 4 overs giving 20 points. Colin Ingram for his brilliant shot was declared
Man of the Match.
Earlier,
the kings of Karachi led by Imad won 149 points for the loss of 9 wickets in 20
overs. Karachi Team is led by Imad Wasim while Pakistan Cricket Team skipper
Sarfaraz Ahmed has retained his place as captain for the gladiators of Quetta.
Opening
drummers Khurram Manzoor scored 35 points against 39 points. Babar Azam scored
only 10 points for his team after being caught by Sarfraz Ahmed off Rahat Ali.
Manzoor was overtaken by Anwar Ali's Asad Shafiq in 13th place, which brought
Ravi Bopara to the field. quickly scored 41 runs of 21 balls, breaking five
fours and 2 sixes. Shannon Watson was chosen bowler as he took 3 wickets for
his team. Anwar Ali and Jofra Archer respectively had 2-2 wickets.
Quetta
Gladiators has been the second team twice in the previous two editions of the
league with a burning desire to win the trophy.
Karachi Kings vs Quetta Gladiators Match
The Karachi kings play the
champions in defense of the Quetta Gladiators in the second game of the second
season of the 2018 Pakistan Super League. This match will be played on February
23 in Dubai. The match will start at 4:30 p.m. (11:30 p.m.).
With two poor seasons, the
Kings of Karachi seem to have finally broken the whip and managed to transform
their team for this third season. In the first year of the PSL, the Kings were
the only side to be knocked out, while in the second season they scraped the
semifinal, but then lost the game easily to give a chance to make the final.
This season they have a new
captain in the form of Imad Wasim but it will be important that he not miss his
bowling mojo as a result. It's going to be an important transition. Shahid
Afridi remains a part of the squad despite not being a captain.
Also making the Kings training
will be the England captain, Eoin Morgan and Lendl Simmons, while the domestic
chat will be led by Babar Azam. Azam had a good form for him in his first part
of his career and a good PSL season will help him endlessly.
Mohammad Amir leads the pace
of the bowling attack and with Afridi and Wasim leading the pack of spinners,
is a strong bowling line for the Kings.
The big question is whether
the likes of Kevin Pietersen, Jason Roy and Sarfaraz Ahmed, who will lead the
Quetta Gladiators, will be tested by this set of Karachi players. Sarfaraz has,
at his disposal, Asad Shafiq, who is another test taker, but can adjust his
game, Umar Amin and Shane Watson, an umpire who is often kicked out but has
regained his revenge.
The Gladiators are a very
imagined side, having made the PSL Final twice but lost both times and they
would like to make it three in a row in an attempt to conquer their first
title. And to do that, it would be vital for them to start with a win.
Multan Sultans vs Lahore Qalandars Match
It is the third game of this
season's third Super League of Pakistan and the first Multan Sultans take over
the Lahore Qalandars in Dubai. This match will be played on February 23 in
Dubai. The match will start at 9 PST (4:00 GMT).
With the first game out of the
way, the Multan Sultans will be feeling much better and much less nervous about
entering this second round of their first season of the Pakistan Super League.
But nothing like winning your first game and that's exactly what the Multan
side did.
Led by Shoaib Malik, they
first restricted Peshawar Zalmi to 151 and then made a legal chase with five
balls to spare.
Malik skipper Sultans will
seek to win two wins in two games when they play a team like Lahore Qalandars,
who did not have the best of the first two seasons. In fact, the Qalandars, who
started the first two seasons as a favorite, did not even make the playoffs.
Yes, two seasons for the
Qalandars and finished fifth in both, to leave them in the top four.
Can Captain Brendon McCullum
guide you to something different? He can expect the support of an early talent
in Fakhar Zaman, who, like McCullum himself, has the attitude of following the
cupcakes of the word.
And the curious of Sunil
Narine and Yasir Shah can make a net of deception around the Multans in this
third match of the PSL?
The big problem for the
Qalandars is finding a last-minute substitute for Chris Lynn, who was excluded
from the competition even before the first ball was knocked over. Lynn shifted
his shoulder in an international against New Zealand on February 21.
The Qalandars also had to
bring Denesh Ramdin as cover for Mustafizur Rahman, who may not play in this
game. As for their other bowling options, Sohail Khan, Imran Khan and Mitchell
McClenaghan will also seek to add value to the side, but it will be interesting
to see how the course in Dubai should play - very entertaining. The surface
could force them to come in with a spinner extra instead of three pacers.

Multan Sultans Win by Seven Wickets
Kumar Sangakkaa and the responsible beating of Shoaib Malik
helped the Multan sultans defeat defending champions Peshawar Zalmi in the
first game of the third edition of the Pakistan Super League in Dubai on
Thursday.
After opting to give a bowl first, Sultans produced an
impressive show with the bowl to restrict Darren Sammy's Zalmi to only 151 for
the loss of six wickets in their 20 overs. Mohammad Hafeez finished as the best
scorer for Zalmi with 59 out of 52 with the help of six fours and a six.
For the sultans, left arm high-ranking Mohammad Irfan was
the star of the show while claiming two wickets and only delivering 19 races. In
pursuit of 152, the sultans underwent an initial coup when opener Ahmad Shahzad
left unmarked.
However, Sangakkara stabilizes the innings, first with
Sohaib Maqsood and then with captain Malik to ensure there are no obstacles for
the new entrants, when the sultans crossed the victory with five balls to
spare.
Sangakkara finished the entries with the maximum score of
57 out of 51 balls with the help of three and two six while Malik scored 42
wins out of 30 balls with the help of two and two six.
For Zalmi, pacer Wahab Riaz was the most successful player
of the night when he claimed two wickets.
Karachi Kings Team 2018
After a few really disappointing seasons, the
Karachi Kings will want to do a lot better in this third season of the Pakistan
Super League.
They made some interesting choices regarding
the retention of players from the previous season. Leaving Chris Gayle, they
managed to keep Pakistani Usman Khan and Usama Mir even as Ravi Bopara gets
another shot. Its dibbly-dobbly medium-pacers could be useful on slow and slow
surfaces.
The team will be led by Imad Wasim and will
also have Babar Azam and Mohammad Amir in their lineup, making them a highly
dependent team of their Pakistani players for a good performance in the third
PSL season. Wasim is one of the biggest stars to come in this format of the
game.
In a very interesting news, the legendary
Shahid Afridi decided to join the Kings of Peshawar Zalmis and Mohammad Rizwan
was traded against Sohail Khan of Lahore Qalandars. Of course, that meant they
could target strangers during the PSL draft and their Platinum pick was Colin
Ingram. It was followed by Mitchell Johnson's diamond pick and a round of gold
selection of smashing opener Luke Wright for the side.
David Wiese, Tabish Khan and Mohammad Irfan Jnr
are among the others who will participate this season. and Hasan Mohsin while
additional players are Colin Munro, Eoin Morgan and Saifullah Bangash, who
could be involved in a few matches.
The kings of Karachi will be backed by news
that six of their seven foreign cricketers have agreed to play in Pakistan.
After selecting Lendl Simmons, Colin Ingram, Joe Denly, Ravi Bopara, David
Wiese, Tymal Mills and Eoin Morgan as foreign players, the top six names on the
list have all said they would be ready to play in the PSL for these games which
will be played in Pakistan too.
The only player who will leave the competition
early will be English captain Eoin Morgan. Morgan will not stay on the team for
as long as the PSL finals, during which matches will be played in Karachi and
Lahore.
The group was bought by Anyman Group owned by
Salman Iqbal for a whopping $ 2.4 million. They named former South African
international coach Mickey Arthur as director while Mushtaq Ahmed, Pakistan's
former legs coach, will be his assistant and bowling coach.
Islamabad United Team 2018
Having won the first season of
the Pakistan Super League, Islamabad United will want to make certain they
could have positioned up a first-rate performance within the third season as
properly. Going into the PSL Draft, the crew had retained Misbah-ul-Haq as
their skipper and he became joined with the aid of eight other gamers they'd
decided to maintain with.
Those protected West Indian
all-rounder Andre Russell, who had neglected out final season due to a doping
test ban, leg-spinner Shadab Khan who comes into the match with a recognition
to behold, fellow Windies leg-spinner Samuel Badree and Pakistani seamer
Mohammad Sami. amongst others are Rumman Raees, Iftikhar Ahmed, Amad Butt and
Asif Ali.
At some point of the PSL
Draft, Islamabad United delivered South African all-rounder JP Duminy as their
Platinum pick out before bringing in former Aussie and Kiwi keeper Luke Ronchi.
Pakistani all-rounder Faheem Ashraf changed into added in as their Gold select,
and this became accompanied by England keeper-batsman Sam Billings and Zafar
Gohar.
The side named Sahibzada
Farhan and Hussain Talat as their emerging gamers even as the supplementary
players who might be part of the squad for a few games are England hard-hitting
batsman Alex Hales, speedy bowler David Willey and home gamers Mohammad Hasan
and Mohammad Hasnain.
Under-19 bowler Hasnain picked
up an injury leading into the tournament and may not feature in the first few games
of the event not less than.
In what is going to be
interesting news for the Islamabad United enthusiasts, Waqar Younis has joined
the facet as their fast bowling teach. earlier, they'd misplaced the offerings
of Wasim Akram to Multan Sultans, but the signing up of Waqar will do their
facet no damage whatsoever.
The facet has been bought
through the UAE Capital challenge group for $1.5 million US bucks and that they
have positioned some very able minds in fee of the aspect.
Former Pakistan bowler Wasim
Akram, who become the mentor of the Islamabad United squad, has decided to quit
and be a part of the newest franchise, Multan. Australia’s Dean Jones is the
top educate whilst Shoaib Akhtar is the bowling instruct for Islamabad United.
The crew is beautifully
balanced on paper and they could cross in with a selection of combos.
additionally, with the type of coaches they have got, it'll be very
disappointing in the event that they do now not move very a long way within the
tournament.
